*Casual Student rate $28.00 per hour * Undergraduate Civil Engineers - Vacation Work Experience (November 2019 - February 2020)
An opportunity exists for Civil Engineering undergraduates to work and gain experience in a number of Council's Engineering Departments including Traffic, Design, Asset Management, Subdivisions, Construction and Road Maintenance.
Ideally, Engineering undergraduates are in their penultimate year and would be undertaking their final year in 2020. Students completing their course in 2019 will also be considered.
The Engineering Work Experience program runs from November 2019 to February 2020.
- Sound knowledge of Civil Engineering
- Ability to manage time, including setting priorities, planning, and organizing work and meeting timelines
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form
