Grants Officer (102071)
Hume City Council is looking for a Grants Officer to join the Leisure Centres and Sport department.
This is a great opportunity to work in a position that has a strong collaborative focus across Council. This role involves assisting the Coordinator Grants and Projects to identify funding opportunities for approved 4-Year Capital Works Program, recurrent services and other activities to support Council operations. In doing so, you will be responsible for writing submissions for grants for budgeted and priority projects as required, work with departments across Council in the preparation of applications and assist staff to monitor, report on and acquit grants.
Good administration skills, highly developed writing skills and an understanding of grants processes are required together with the ability to research and analyse information on grants and work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders across the organisation and engage with State and Federal Government departments.
- Knowledge of and experience in the process of applying for and administering grants.
- Research skills to seek, obtain and analyse information relevant to the development of grants.
- Ability to work with a team and across networks.
