Civil Construction Engineer (100204)


Reference: 3629708

In this role you will provide highly developed project management skills in ensuring efficient and cost effective inspection, monitoring, auditing, reporting and supervision of contract works throughout the Municipality. You will also supervise Council's Capital Works infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and drainage construction contracts. Additionally, you will work towards ensuring all contract works under your control are carried out in accordance with the contract documentation and to be able to apply your engineering skills in Project Management & Supervision to ensure that industry best practices are met.

Key Skills:

  • Proven extensive experience in civil engineering
  • Proven ability to undertake internal and field assessments of contractors in accordance with construction specifications, civil plans and Quality Management Systems.
  • Proven sound technical knowledge of road and drainage construction processes, resealing and asphalting works.
